Frequently Asked Institutional Questions

Essential parameters regarding contracts, testing, and customs execution.

How does MARYAM ensure quality compliance before shipment?

Every consignment undergoes mandatory on-site inspection by independent certified laboratories (SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Intertek). Test reports covering moisture, purity, tensile strength, and packing seals are submitted to the buyer for formal sign-off before the vessel leaves the port of origin.

Which Incoterms 2020 do you support?

We primarily execute under CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight) and FOB (Free on Board origin port). For eligible regional markets in the Gulf and Jordan, we also facilitate CFR and DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) contracts with localized customs clearance.

What are the typical payment instruments accepted?

We operate via Irrevocable Confirmed Letters of Credit (L/C at sight) issued by Tier-1 international banks, as well as structured telegraphic transfer (T/T) milestones with escrow protections.
